i was never really outwardly bulied, like no kids would never be specifically mean to me or say things to hurt me. but i was a toads antisocial and a mega bookworm back in school. all my good friends were between the pages of novels. but now, as i've grown up, people have been nicer and i have a few really good friends and a loy of Hallway Hi's, and now bullies just look down at me because of my smarts and i really dont care :)

Some of the stories here are horrible! I hope it gets better for all of you.

I've been a bully myself (for which I feel awful) but I've been bullied too because I was "different".
The reason why I've been a bully is probably because I was/am always confused and I feel like I'm constantly struggling with myself. I think way too much and too fast (I can't keep up with my thoughts). I just can't control them. So I guess when I was younger I wanted to feel powerful and I wanted to be in control for once (btw I'm also the youngest at home, so absolutely NO power/control there either) so I was mean to the "weaker" kids.

Thank goodness that I've changed. Now I write/draw my thoughts down or something, that helps a lot. If I was a classmate of my younger self, I would absolutely hate myself (does that make sense?).

) was bullied all through elementary school and middle school by a group of mean boys; whenever I complained about them, I was always told that boys would be boys, even if that meant being literally ganged up and beat up on after school (and keep in mind, this was a group of boys beating up on a little girl). I then also had a few teachers(!) that bullied me as well. It didn't stop until my family moved away, and I was going to a new school in a different city.

I was bullied by my best friend. She hurt me, like joking, but it hurted. She told me things I hated to hear, and when I was at bed, alone, I cried. And she always played with my feelings, and I wasn't a strong girl. Luckily, it's over now :)

I've been bullied a few times off and on in my life (just the other day in fact :/) and childhood, nothing too horrible but it wasn't fun or easy. Now when it comes up I kinda just shrug it off. Hurts to hear about how bad it gets for others, if I ever see it happening I'm going to stand up and say something alright.

Mm, I think most people bully and are bullied-- they just don't know it. I have had the 'smart kids' aka 'geeky / nerdy kids' be complete ass holes to me because I played sports / was friends with the 'popular kids' or because they automatically assumed I was unintelligent. But the popular kids could be complete ass holes as well (not because I knew some geeky kids, most of the time it was over the stupidest crap).

I could be a complete ass hole to people for no apparent reason.

We are all capable of it and most likely have done it at some point in time. x) ~doesn't mean it is a good thing, but it is something to be aware of.
