School-wise, I've had both (uniform and no), and personally? For school/work, I love uniforms. I had a standard slacks and polo uniform in fifth grade (for a brief stint at a charter school), and in high school we had a variation: khaki slacks (any color) and the school shirt (which came in a variety of polos and oxfords, short-and-long-sleeved, in a variety of colors). We also had optional sweaters/sweater vests. And for the pants, as long as they were slacks/not jeans or sweats/athletics, the school was good. Now, in college, we have a dress code, but it's very lax. (It's a Christian school, so it runs on a modesty principle.)

I like dressing up and picking out outfits, especially for special occasions, but for school/work I love the ease of a uniform.

I'm a girl and I want to be Chuck Norris...beard and all lol. EVEN THOUGH a different costume everyday is what I plan to do fohevuh!!

I chose the no uniform because I hate being restrained in one thing, no matter if you can arrange different colors and such because it's basically the same thing. I mean of course I'd follow the school dress code but I don't want to wear the same thing everyday.

Ok, I wear a uniform for school and it is the most uncomfortable thing I've worn in my life. If it was just a pair of pants, a long t-shirt and a hoodie...that would be fine. BUT alas, its a ugly catholic school girl thing for a freezing moldy school.

Uniforms are great since you don't have to think about what you should wear and you don't have to spend money to buy new clothes as much. But you can start to have issues with that, like me when I get sick from just wearing my uniform.

I'm rambling, sorry. I just have experience with this topic. (which seems to be rare.)
