awesome, if men still wore Regency or Victorian times fashion?
and sideburns.

some men in my country would be wearing ponchos too, if men still wore clothes from those years (we dont even call it, Regency or Victorian times actually, since we were not a British colony.)... but ponchos are sexy/manly in their own way, it would be wesome too. Heck, i want a Chilean poncho (chamanto) right now, but they can be quite expensive.

That was about the same time my country was colonised, so it'd be like nothing had changed since the beginning ...

Well, kind of but not really. My country didn't start being called what it was and stuff until then. I mean, it wasn't really considered a country until then ...

That would be cool if we were wearing fashions from a hundred years ago today.

Course, since I live in California, the fashions would be a mix of Victorian, cowboy, and Mexican styles as well (like wearing a frock coat with a Stetson and cowboy boots).

And people would assume that I had a horrible disease or just got out of a mental institution because of my really short hair.

As much as I would like to say it, I don't think a girl with short hair would be considered fashion forward. Short hair only became socially acceptable in the 1920s, and that was only so women can proclaim that they were liberated. Before that, women with short hair were either ill, crazy, assumed to be crazy, or cross dressing as a guy to do stuff they weren't normally allowed to do.
