So, Book Depository rocks. Yes, I highly recomend it!!!   no more ebooks for being able to read in the original language for me!!! give me paper!!! gimme now!!!
So now Im reading The book thief (that arrived from book depository), and Im loving it. :) I also got my Fault in our Stars hardcover (since i read the ebook, but I just wanted to have, you know, physically XD) I also bought a copy of the later for a friend :)
Still waiting for my an abundance of katherines, life of pi, paper towns.
Betterworld Books did not deliver my copy of Anna and the French Kiss (its been two months and a half), so I wont be buying more books from that store. I'll admit that the save the planet and give books to other kids thing sounds appealing, but I cant trust the delivery will arrive anymore. They returned the money though.

as everything thats delivered to my far away country, the books took from a month an a week to 25 days :)

Also, sorry if im too slow of I dont answer every comment, five days away can pile things here eh?

I never had, til today. It was cause a combo of things, the lack of food, standing for long, hot day... most probably, cause I had to wait too long for my turn at the telephone company, then spend a buch of time standing trying to figure out which mobile plan was best and which smartphone to get hehehe. All this at lunch hour, so I fainted there, at the phone company hehehe good thing I was with my doctor father (who obvioulsy did all the Trendelemburg thing etc) and not alone :)   Later we went for some carbs for my poor brain! yeah! carbs!

Anyway, I dont remeber much from before I woke up, but I do remeber I was dreaming something and didnt want to wake up, it must have been good! Maybe I invented a cure for pathologic procrastination or somehting, I dont know. What I do remember was waking up, covered in sweat, with a bunch of people arround me, my father holding my feet up (thank God I was wearing shorts and not a skirt) and some dude who was most probably a dentist (some dentists wear scrubs in odd places in between work... which I think is a bit gross and I never do. he was kind though), asking me if I was Ok, that my eyes were showing just the whites! JUST THE WHITESSSs!!! creepy. Im obvioulsy not a princess-like fainter.
Ahhh. so vasovagal of me XD.

Also, I got a Galaxy Ace Plus phone.  Is it good?  It better be, I fainted for it and also, I'm stuck with it for 18 months!

Sorry for the long journal, just wanted to share my first (and hopefully last) fainting experience XD

Edit: I really like my phone, and I'm feeling dandy.

Up until today I didnt know they were adapting this, and I never thought Id say this  "I liked a live action movie based on anime"
But I have, cause I very much enjoyed Rurouni Kenshin live action movie!!! (it might not come as surprise to you, given the way I draw, that I was once an anime/manga fan... I didnt watch many series, just the good ones, like Rurouni Kenshin, a favorite of mine)
...anyway, the movie had nice fighting scenes (super fast), casting on the spot, clothing and scenery were just like the anime/manga, the story too, I was amazed how well they stick to the story (well i dont remember it all, but i remember some differences, but hey! a movie needs to be summary)!!!  it was amazing really. It was also good to remember such a great anime.
Kenshin was so cute and agile! gigantic eyes. (envy)
Now I wish they would make the whole story into movies with the same cast and director!!!

A must watch for anime fans.

I have regained my faith in live action adaptations, after I completely lost it to Dragon Ball.

just came in the mail! It smells so good. New book smell gets often underrated and shadowed by old book bouquet, but i think its really delicious too.
What a good way to end 2012.

Happy New Year everyone!!!!

So... after I read TFIOS I was told that the author of the book made this vlog with his brother. So I checked it out. They are quite fun to watch . I also really enjoy Hanks scishow :) fun stuff...well, in the (not so lengthy ,as you might think by this journal) process of procrastinating and youtubing vlogbrothers....I shall call this act "procravloyouthering".. what a poor word.. sound like someone in Asgard would be named like that... (lost track of what I was typing)
Anyway, something called Project for Awesome caught my eye.  So I did my research, and it sounds awesome.  so yeah...  many of you might know what  this is, since apparently, its been done x times before! which sounds awesomer!

so if you don't what it is about, check it out.   To the charity of your choosing!!! PROST!
[link]

Also, if you donated or will donate, send me a dA note containing your mail and I'll send a full sized TFIOS picture Im  currently working on... which is going to be super big  (so I wont be able to upload full size ere on dA) and full of details , and will contain many many TFIOS stuff  (kinda like the Harry Potter picture in my front page which, you should know, its original size is humungous). You don't need to prove you've donated.. I trust your word.
I wish I had it done by today or tomorrow but I'm quite busy, but I promise Ill do it!!! and send the big picture to your mail!!! I will, I promise!!! ( I cant promise ill be quick though!)

you might say  at this point "What? promise? like the promise to draw a poll picked scene from every Harry Potter book? but end up in book 5????"
yes, I'm sorry about that... Ive been truly busy lately.

(of course this note receiving ends tomorrow as P4A does)

I'm obviously not a physicist, astronomer or astrophysicist for that matter, and could never be one (since I have big holes in my scientific/mathematical education, and I just chose a different profession) but I love Sixty Symbols channel in youtube.  They are so passionate about what they are talking about, and its just so interesting! and they make it simple and equationless!!! AND many times funny! the imagination it requires!!! I can't stop myself from watching one after another (many times I dont get some things though... but I refuse to feel dumb. Im just undereducated in certain fields, as everyone is. It does not make me find it less interesting).
I can't quite define my obsession... maybe obsession is an enough word for it.

I Sixty Symbols procrastinate.
I Sixbolscratinate?  hm... not a very good word, but I'll use it anyway.

Professor Ed Copeland has such a paced and soft voice...

Educational youtube has replaced TV for me since History channel changed to fairy and alien channel. I like fiction that comes from books, and that is intended as fiction.

Also, I'm a nerd.

Free things:

Last year my sister was asked to be some famous singer (whose name does not matter) concert's doctor, so of course she got the watch the concert for free (from the stage), when the concert ended she went to her car, only to find a parking ticket.
My father and I were going to a concert last Sunday, but it got "transferred" to today... because of that my dad wasn't able to accompany, Wednesdays are busy days for dad XD  so I gave the extra ticket to a friend of mine. After the concert she got a car scratch (from a stupid woman.. who drived horribly)
Last year I was invited to a wedding for which i had no companion XD, and I asked a friend of a friend to the wedding, cause he just loves weddings. after the wedding, he crashed his car against a tree... ((did only a big hole on the front, no human damage XD)

so i started thinking.
1.- people in Chile drive horribly and do not respect parking laws.
2.- Free concerts and weddings never end up being free after all.
3.- Whenever Im the shotgun, the driver crashes.

now Ill have to drive everywhere.

Silvio Rodriguez:
The concert was awesome!!! I just love that man. Some might remember this picture I did for one of his songs
he did not played it though heheheheh

commute two hours to work and two hours back home (via very cheap bus) , if it was for one day a week, and the job seemed good and according to your terms?

as some of you might know, Chile is a pretty thin country and I live just by the Andes mountains. Work offer is from the other side of the country, to the north, very near the beach!!! (near Valparaíso, google it, its very beautiful). From mountain to beach... every week XD  my ears would get very preasure change trained.
Also, it would be my third actual job (if i get it).. and I'm also a fricking student... and next year I'll have to do my thesis... ahhh just typing it makes me tired, and exited too! XD since I love what I do!! ("tiring" and "exiting" often marry each other and have babies called "rewarding", as ive come to learn.  I work , very little, as an Orthodntist and a Freelance Illustrator.  A third job would do my wallet a favour. hopefully.

Even though im failing at transcripting the audio of a class for my fellow students or comrades (damn you tumblr), i think these past few days have been productive.
Cooperated for Teletón (which was a success, of course) and I'm almost certain I convinced a 16 years old patient not to get a tattoo (drawn by him) thats says YOLO. Also got some book  suggestions from another, 13 year old, patient (since im 13 at heart, Ill look for them, she tells me they're short XXDD).
I love working with teens, its just so fun! I will stay a teen at heart for as long as I can, hopefully forever.

uuuuuu I also bought a mug that contains a compartiment so that you can add your own pictures and designs to it! so I have "palnk art" custom mug now XD self centered!!! and bought a plain dress that I intend to pimp out with artsy things and drawing to make it super awesome!!! I'll show when I'm done!!! (not soon, since Im exams period)

finished transcriting my class! (it took like 8 hours!!! Im happy I know a lot of new things now!!)

completely productive!!!

now on to my pending commish!!!
