I said i was going to draw some songs that tell stories


based on one of my favourite songs when i was a kid. Hijo de la Luna by Mecano ( oh i loved this spanish band)

For those who dont speak spanish, it means Son of the Moon.

Tells the story of a gyspy woman who desperately wanted to marry a gypsy king so she prayed to the moon to get him, the moon said fine, youll get your man, but in return i want your first born child, for the moon wanted a child but she could not find a man who could make a woman out of her. So the gypsy married the gypsy king and then gave birth to an white skined, albino boy. the gyspy king feeling betrayed, since such a paple kid could not be his, murdered the gypsy woman and then took the baby to a mount and left it there to die.

When the moon is full it means the kid is happy, but if he cries the moon wanes to make him a cradle

i used moon flowers and moon orchids ... tohugh they are white really... but lets not waste ourselves in technicalyties.
i made them red, cuse do you remebr in I am Sam, when Sams tells the adoptive mother that he thinks shi is the red in the little girls paintings... and its so sweet! so red is the color for mopther moon too. plus is my favourite color.
